Movement For Mia

Quad Squad Gathering in Melbourne

We had a lovely time in Melbourne catching up with ‘The Quad Squad’, a support group for quadruple amputees and their families.
Their support, understanding and knowledge are invaluable to us.

Mia has a very lovely, special bond with Matthew Ames. We are so lucky the Ames family lives not too far away from us in Brisbane.

We had an absolute blast trying out wheel chair rugby. A massive thanks to Wheelchair Rugby Victoria. It was so much fun crashing into each other!!

A really really BIG THANKS to Variety – the Children’s Charity of Queensland and Variety Bash Car 65 for funding our trip so that Mia can be surrounded by amputees like herself.

Artvo was so much fun and we’re glad we took so many photos even though by the end we had all run out of the enthusiasm for smiling and posing!

  1. These are beautiful pictures of a beautiful family and their inspirational story. When we put our minds together, the world is ours and nothing can stop in our way.
