World Sepsis Day – ABC radio interview, Queensland Health Sepsis Awareness video and cupcakes :)

This morning we were invited to chat with Rebecca Levingston and Craig Zonca on ABC Brisbane radio.  Mia was as cool as a cucumber (or banana) and was extra cheeky crawling around the studio and sitting on Rebecca’s lap.

Queensland Health are working on raising awareness about sepsis and have released a great video of people affected by sepsis.  Raising awareness is extremely important to us as we don’t want anyone else to go through what we have.

Ahead of #WorldSepsisDay we’re sharing the stories of Queenslanders who have experienced sepsis. Sepsis can occur as a result of any infection in the body. Knowing the signs and symptoms can save lives.These are just some stories of people who have experienced sepsis. Sepsis symptoms can vary a lot between people.
