This afternoon we were invited along to meet new friends at a wheelchair rugby training session at Bowen Hills YMCA. It is a very athletic, exhausting, tough, strategic sport. Very impressive!! It feels wonderful to connect with supportive amputees and wheelchair users and have them as mentors and guidance for us and Mia. Xx
